Here it is, I am editing a level in nethack and I want to place a ring
of protection from shape changers a a certain location ... no problem I
think.

This should work: OBJECT:'=',"protection from shape changers"
but it doesn't.

Instead I get a ring of protection.

My question is, how do I get the right ring.
