The now quarantined City of Wuhan --population ~11 million and new epicenter of the highly publicized, deadly, contagious and so far quasi-incurable "corona virus"-- lies about 45 miles closer to the City of Shanghai [pop ~24 million] than does San Diego to San Francisco.
In view of the sudden world public health emergency, will the sponsors of the _go_ playing tour from China now suspend their planned tournaments in the USA, starting with the announced event in San Francisco this Sunday, the 2nd of February?

Hong Kong (CNN)China marked its most fatal day yet during the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak Thursday as the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the virus a global health emergency.
Chinese authorities reported more than 40 deaths Thursday, all of them in Hubei, the province at the center of the outbreak of which Wuhan is the capital, bringing the total death toll to 213, with almost 10,000 cases confirmed worldwide.
As of Friday, there were more than 9,700 coronavirus cases confirmed in China, authorities said, an increase of over 2,000 from the previous day. That surpasses the 2003 severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) outbreak that began in southern China, which infected 8,098 people worldwide, killing 774.
More than 20 countries and territories outside of mainland China have confirmed cases of the virus -- spanning Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East -- as the United Kingdom reported its first two cases on Friday.

The 28th annual Jujo Tournament, with Rui Nai Wei 9P also in attendance,proved thoroughly enjoyable for all participants. Photos of the event are available here:

The group shot is of the hard-core crowd remaining after the end of the awards ceremony.
Jujo and Rui came to the SF event from their tour of Africa. Jujo said that he looked forward to again being able to bring a group of his Chinese students to a future iteration of the Tournament. Amen! (For about a year now Jujo has been running a large school for the game in Shanghai.)
