Greetings,

Version 12 of the GoRilla SGF game editor for Go has been released.
It is a freeware Windows program and can be downloaded from

http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/dashstofsk/gorilla.html

Use it to manage and replay your games and the games of the
professionals. I hope you will find GoRilla a useful product and that
it will increase your skill.

I would like people to support me in my aim to develop the product
further so I would like to ask for comments and suggestions for
improvements. All opinions will be welcomed.

i think it would quite informative if you briefly explain :

what makes your program different / better than the already existing
SGF browsers?

what is its distinctive feature?

Here are some differences: my program takes less memory and can load
large SGF files ( e.g. Kogo's Joseki Dictionary, or even a larger SGF
file with 300,000+ nodes and 17,000+ branches ) in a shorter time than
some other SGF viewers; it is a multi-game program that also supports
Connect6, Othello/Reversi, Havannah, Hex, Kropki; it is a small scale
program that consists of one executable file of size 864 kB,
statically linked. In addition it does have quite a nice GIF export
feature,

I would say that its distinctive feature is the ability to support
large SGF collections of games.

I do not claim that GoRilla is a better program. It suits my own
needs and I hope that other people will find it useful also. I very
much enjoyed writing it and I have plans for further development.
