The Question is investigating the murder of Lobo, and the first place he
visits is the Martian Manhunter, who is living with Wonder Woman on a secret
goverment facility.
Finally with the help of Batman, he comfronts Lex Luthor, who is behind it
all.
Actually, the Watchmen were based on the Charlton heroes. So Question
investigates the death of Judomaster, confronts Capt Atom who is
living with Nightshade. Blue Beetle is the retired hero who comes
out. Peter Cannon is the man behind it all.

I believe the Comedian was based on Peacemaker, not Judomaster.
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of some smackdown laid on his sorry ass. - Stone Cold Jane Austen
The Watchman motion comic dvd is in the stores now, might be interesting.
Ah, right. Thank you for the correction. I was doing it from memory
and got the Comedian reference wrong.

Probably better, but I am more familiar with the Justice league and the
Martian Manhunter seem to be more of a better couterpoart to Dr Manhattan,
(in both powers and attitude).
I guess it's just a superhero of a different color.
