I have not seen a link to posting rules. I am looking for a place to
look for players for an IRC game. Is that a problem here?

This is an un-moderated forum on the distributed Usenet system. There
may be a FAQ document, but no enforcible rules.

Indeed. But IIRC, the following is frowned upon:

- Advertisements (except for free RPG related stuff, and even then
limited to short messages).

- Discussion about programming of computer RPGs. Rule design for
such are O.K., though.
