My current ISP doesn't offer a free Usenet feed, so I've been using a
paid feed. But for one reason and another I rarely look at Usenet and
don't really have the time or patience to keep up with things at
present. My subscription ends soon, with regrets I've decided to let it
lapse.

Any news for Forgotten Futures and my other RPGs will be posted to my
web site:

The feed for this is an insanejournal account

Well, we're sorry to see you go, but you should realize there's plenty
of free Usenet feeds that aren't ISP dependent; I use one --
eternal-september.org, formerly motzarella.

I second eternal-september.org; when my ISP started becoming unreliable
I switched and have never regretted it.

My only frustration with Eternal September is the damnable capcha without an
accessible option. But there are other ways to get newsgroup access for
free.

Captcha? I'm using Eternal September through Thunderbird. No Captcha
involved. Whether Thunderbird has accessible options for that, I dunno.

It's on their site when you first set up your account.

Ah. Wasn't there when I signed up, AFAIR. But that was quite a while ago.

The cost isn't the deciding factor - it's the rarity with which I'm
checking posts. Yesterday there were 27000+ unread posts when I logged
in, I really can't cope with that.

Not in this NG, there weren't. What were you reading?
