If a PC has a puppet who dies, doe he get his CP back (for dependent/ally and
Puppet) or does he lose those points?

If an Ally dies then the PC loses those points only if he was
responsible for the Ally dying.

Usually any CPs refunded will be used to buy another Ally as described
on p. B37.
