-Earth Dwarf.

-Dwarven Fighter Substitute level from Races of Stone (1st level only).
-All three levels of the Dwarven Paragon class.
-Fighter the rest of the way to 20th.
Any thoughts or alternative plans?

Dwarven Defender might be worth taking.

There's stonelord in Complete Warrior. It's perhaps a bit too mystical
to be an exact fit for your as dwarfy as possible dwarf, but I always
thought it would be a great fit for a dwarf monk, and you could possibly
pick up a level or three for some of the powers. IIRC, there's stuff
like healing yourself by rubbing dirt on it. :)

Battlesmith (a dwarf smith who can created magic weapons & armor without
being a spellcaster) (RoS p97). However, he specializes in warhammer
instead of waraxe (the PrC theme is hammers because they're used in
forges as well as war).

Isn't that /less/ Dwarfy? Losing the antimagic and greenskin-hate is
not at all how I see them. Mine get SR 5+level and free favoured enemies.
That may as well say they're not greedy, obnoxious, drunkards. 8]

But the 2nd and 8th level shticks are /way/ Dwarfy. Use the Battle
Plate from that book too, with spikes on it, and a steel Tower Shield.
The old wall of iron defence, for a mere 225lb.

Hmm. I guess it is at least Dwarfy. Throw in a level of Cleric
spellcasting or something to make it worthwhile.
> -Fighter the rest of the way to 20th.
Not the Defender? Ftr 6, Paragon 3, DD 10, plus 1 as Cleric? Yes, the
fighteriest Dwarf fighter prays to his gods every morning, unless you've
got some reason to take an odd number of Fighter levels, like Pathfinder.

A bottemless well of love for the Soulforger, or whatever more
fightery Dwarf gods you have available (Clangedden Silverbeard perhaps).

The different ways one can approach D&D is what makes it D&D.
