PCGEN works for pathfinder.
DMgenie was made for 3.5, but I've seen some people working on chnages for
Pathfinder. Alas, the product is no longer supported so the changes are
going to be limited.
Life to you WDS, and everlasting glory.
Just caught up on some e-mails from PC Gen, apparently one of the features
recently added is support for Pathfinder. And of course the announcement
for PC Gen 6.0; and requests for help, features and everything else that
goes along with a new development of the PC Gen series.

Yes, but make sure you track down the Core Ruleset files. The default
install for PCGen only includes the Beta ruleset, and there have been
changes.

I grabbed a copy of 5.x (whatever the current release is) and the
Pathfinder files and ... well, they're close but not quite there. For
instance, one basic thing missing is the special bonus you get for
sticking to your preferred (whatever it is called) class.

Funny, I've had no such problem. Although it makes you select two
favored classes even for races that only get one, (easy enough to work
around).
It's under Feats & Abilities >> Racial Abilities. Select the Favored
Class ability on the right, pick your classes, then select Favored Class
Bonus.
