Slow "Blitz"

Greetings Empire World:

I'm attempting to run a "slow" blitz so that users can still get a
sandbox approach to Empire, but have it work more realistically with
fewer updates (there's time to plan). I'm thinking 10 countries, w/
start islands of size 50 sectors - 5 sects between continents and 3
sects from islands, plus some other factors. All at 60 ETUs w/ 3 updates
per day (every 8 hours).

I know blitz is a misnomer for this (and I would actually like to try
1/day "blitzes" as well), but, I use it for lack of a better term to
describe an informal, non-longterm game.

Anyway, if there is interest in this, email me, and I will publish the
IP addy of the server. Its currently running, so, you can get on right away.

As a side note, the code is running the most recent version, with my
paradrop command patch - so *do* try and break it. :)

Once more details of what people want are worked out, I'll work out how
often the "blitz" resets. Probably once a month (especially of we go the
1 update/day route).

We have a couple of countries that have broken, and another that should
soon. Email sco...@websagacity.com if interested in playing - countries
2-6 & 8-10 are availible. I may just post the server info; once I'm
comfortable having it go public. Version command to follow.

Its Vanilla Empire; although I'm testing a change to the paradrop
command, so, if you play, let me know if you have any issues with paradrop.

The DI and ID sizes were chosen to allow the world to be spread out a
little. Larger continents were chosen to give a little more freedom; but
the expansion islands are smaller then normally would be (default would
have been 25)

Wolfpack Empire 4.3.22

The following parameters have been set for this game:
World size is 128 by 64.
There can be up to 99 countries.
By default, countries use their own coordinate system.

Use the 'show' command to find out the time of the next update.
An update consists of 60 empire time units.
Each country is allowed to be logged in 1440 minutes a day.
It takes 8.33 civilians to produce a BTU in one time unit.

A non-aggi, 100 fertility sector can grow 0.12 food per etu.
1000 civilians will harvest 1.3 food per etu.
1000 civilians will give birth to 5.0 babies per etu.
1000 uncompensated workers will give birth to 2.5 babies.
In one time unit, 1000 people eat 0.5 units of food.
1000 babies eat 6.0 units of food becoming adults.
No food is needed!

Banks pay $250.00 in interest per 1000 gold bars per etu.
1000 civilians generate $8.33, uncompensated workers $1.78 each time unit.
1000 active military cost $83.33, reserves cost $8.33.
Happiness p.e. requires 1 happy stroller per 10000 civ.
Education p.e. requires 1 class of graduates per 10000 civ.
Happiness is averaged over 48 time units.
Education is averaged over 192 time units.
The technology/research boost you get from the world is 50.00%.
Nation levels (tech etc.) decline 1% every 96 time units.
Tech Buildup is limited to logarithmic growth (base 2.00) after 1.00.

The attack factor for para & assault troops is 0.50.
12% of fallout leaks into each surrounding sector.
Fallout decays by 28% per update
