The server crashed today a bit ago, I believe as a result of Cohiba's
unrelenting attacks :p...

At any rate, it is back up, and I have an error log to figure out. The
crash happened *precisely*, to the second, that a bulletin was generated
during air interdiction.

Markus: Should I send the log entry directly to you?

Looks like that was my fault. using `keepitup` for executing the server
and it launches emp_server with the '-d' option - which implies that the
server should ABORT on an oops error....oops. I should have caught that.
I even remeber noting that that script used -d.

The next servers WONT be ABORTING - sorry Cohiba!

HA! I've heard those tales. I was actually hoping Cohiba didn't think I did that.
Seemed to happen during the :40 min I was between computers.
Working fine
Drive drive drive somewhere
Not working.

Then I looked at the logs and the last thing I saw was Cohiba doing a big attack,
then the server crashed.
I was like, "Aww man, I hope he doesn't think I pulled the plug!!"
I'd never do that. Never never never. Actually, when I host a formal long term
game, I'll likely not play in it, at least the first few. Gotta build trust.

Yeah - this one reads:
# keepitup
# This is a hacked version of "isempireup" by Dave Nye
# Modified for use with the Empire2 server by Ken Stevens *1995*

I'm just thankful that I got it to work. I had to massage the
scripts to work for my purposes. Started making them a little
more generic as well (using variables instead of hard-coding
repeated information, etc.) Some other things I forget that
I *should* have commented but didn't. Ah well, a diff on the
original and the current should tell me what I changed - not that
I'll remember why, though - but I'm sure it made sense at the time.
