STAR TREK QUESTIONS: Temporal Rift, "your"

I have two questions...

1) While a ship is in the Temporal Rift for its two turns, does it "exist?"
Can things happen to it while disappeared? (i.e. will Plasma Fire continue
to damage while the ship is gone?)

2) When a card says something like "in x of your full turns" who is the
"your" if the card is played on the opponent?
