i was just wondering if anybody plays the card game about the American Civil
War by Columbia Games called Dixie. it is not designed to be a collectors
card game just a regular card game. the first edition has 200 cards, 100 for
the US player and 100 for the CSA player. the cards are numbered from
100-299 and they each have a painting of something for which the card is
supposed to represent. the cards only come in starter deck packs, no
booster packs are sold. each pack comes with 60 cards, 30 for the US and 30
for the CSA player. all the cards at that moment are for the Bull Run
edition and more sets are planned for the future to cover other battles like
Shilo and Gettysburg.
well, does anybody play this game yet? does anybody have cards they want to
trade or sell? is anybody interested in this game at all? please tell me
i'm not the only one in the world who is playing this!! i would like tom
trade cards so if somebody does play or have cards, let me know here or at
my email address-
jpipes
thanks!!

>thanks!!
There is discussion of Dixie in rec.games.trading-cards.misc
and yes, it is a CCG because you get anassortment of cards in the packs
rather than a complete set.
