Does anyone know the rarity distribution of INWO yet? I bought a starter set
and 5 boosters, the booster had 3 cards facing the opposite way to all the
others..are these the rares (or uncommons?)??

Also, prices here are wierd..you buy a starter set for $19.95 in which you get
110 cards (2 packs of 55), but for the same amount of boosters (4.95 each = 4
packs) you only get 60 cards..what's the deal? ARE there more rares for the $$
on booster, or should I just keep buying starters??

I'm sure other people are asking..and I don't have access to the
rec.games.trading-cards hierachy, so could any replies be sent here or to me
personally? Thanks!

Sorry, not yet...

Generally, boosters do have a higher percentage of rares. At the moment, kinda
hard to tell which are rares, uncommons, and such, until we can compile a
list. Unfortunately for myself, I was too eager to open and such and now I
don't know which cards were originally in my starter and which were in my
boosters.

ALSO!: You said you paid $19.95 for the starter pack (2 55-card decks) and
$4.95 for each booster. Offhand, I'd say that store is jacking the
prices up by double. I bought my starter pack for $9.95 and each
booster at about $2.50 (ie, my first purchase of 1 starter and 2
boosters cost about $15).

In the years I've gone to the Compleat Strategist in NYC, I've never
known them to overcharge anything. If you can, check other store's
prices on this stuff (or if you can't, I'll post CS's mail order
number).

I think they're the uncommons.

The original poster was posting from Australia...I think prices are higher
there.

(Although for all I know that may be high for Australia too. The prices
mentioned above are accurate for the US.)

In general, also, posting about INWO should go on rec.games.trading-cards.misc
if you get it.

Nope. They do that so you can't look through the pack to see what you're
getting like you can do with some Magic packs.

What a rip-off! Locally, I get the double-starters for $11.50, the singles
for $5.95 and the boosters for $2.25 and I still think I get ripped off.

Personally, I'd suggest getting starters only. There doesn't seem to be much
difference, and the price/card is much cheaper. There seems to be a much
higher distribution of New World Order and Goal cards in the starters as well
as being the only place you can get the Illuminati.

Well, SJGames has said that there are more rares in the *booster* packs
versus the starter decks, so I'd recommend boosters instead. While there
may be more New World Order/Goal cards in the starters, I don't think
that they are that rare, and there aren't many different types of
them, in any case.
