Hi,

KOTH.ORG will be closing down at the end of the month. The listproc,
hills and website will be taken down sometime 30th or 31st.

As someone who was involved with Core War back in the early days, back when
I was involved with the '88 standards (if I remember right), I wanted to
extend a thanks for the support you have given to the community over the
years.

Is there anything I can do to help? Can I offer a new location for koth.org?
I can host it (free) and help with getting the listprocs, services and all
that moved over for a seamless transition. Would this be something you would
be interested in?

That would be really great if the website and the hills can kept
alive, as it is really one of the most important Core War sources in
internet.

Very sad news :-( Thanks for running it all this time!

I haven't been active in Corewar for a while, so I wonder about the
background. Is the game still being played? If so, there should be a
koth for it. I am willing to help in making it happen. I have a slow
server that would probably suitable for hosting, but I would also be
willing to invest into renting a faster one.

I still hope to play again ;-)
