Google Groups will be closing the Usenet gateway from 22 February. To
continue reading / posting you need to sign up to a free Usenet NNTP
server and use a newsreader.

rec.games.corewar is available via the following servers:

* https://www.solani.org

* https://www.eternal-september.org

I'm currently using the Pan newreader which is available for Windows,
Mac and Linux and only takes a few minutes to set up. Alternatively,
Thunderbird supports newsgroups:

* https://pan.rebelbase.com

* https://www.thunderbird.net

Please let me know if you've found a newsreader for Android or iOS, any
other servers which carry r.g.cw, or a working mail2news gateway.

Colin Macleod is currently developing a free web client to access Usenet
newsgroups. It still has a few rough edges, but no problems reading or
posting to r.g.cw:

You can browse r.g.cw without an account, but you need to sign up if
you'd like to post.
