I'm the current maintainer of the Xpilot-AI fork of xpilot.
Unfortunately, my proposal for a WCCI Xpilot-AI contest was declined
by the committee.
This does not mean there will be no contest held in the future;
however, it will not be under WCCI sponsorship. To whomever has access
to the xpilot.org, site, I ask if you may remove the WCCI Xpilot-AI
contest announcement from the 'Community' page.

Oh, and if anyone is interested in Xpilot-AI, please feel free to
check out the website at xpilot-ai.org. The mailing list is not
operable yet due to some firewall issues, but you may e-mail me
directly or respond on this newsgroup. I have spent some time
separating the client and server code, as well as removing the
autoconf madness, so if you wanted to begin developing a stand-alone
minimal client, it would be a good place to start, I think.

Sure... You're the first real post here in a long while :) www.xpilot.org
has undergone a revamp with new design and content Winfried Trumper
(thanks Winfried!), but I'm now maintaining it.
I just put up contact information for website and XPilot classic
maintenance at http://www.xpilot.org/about/

Ok, sorry to hear that. I've removed it from www.xpilot.org.
