BUCCANEERS DEN----STINKOLA!!!

hail mates. My review of Bucs Den is a big stinkeroo!!! I finally got drunk
enough and worked up the courage to recall in to it. I had read the jargon
about it. A rough place.....no guard protection....not for sissies.....whew,
this looks bad. So I recall in, ready for action...and NOTHING! I have been
there four times now, looking for colored plate and just seeing if ANYTHING
happens. BOOORING!!!! Just NPC's,,,,all blue except one red blacksmith I saw
one time. Only one time did I see another player character. This place is
safer then grannies kitchen. So for all you chickens out there,,,forget about
it!!! Buc's Den is a big bust.

I noticed the same thing (on Sonoma). I walked around and it was deserted. I
did see signs of a fight and a death (arrows scattered here and there, a pile
of items (of low value) in a post body pile.

What did you expect, there's like No Bank there. So therefor there
is no population there, so therefor there are no PKs there. pretty straight
forward. Jhelom used to be just another dust bowl stop along the moongate
trip until they actually got a bank.

I will resist the obvious temptation towards a breast joke here. :)

With regards to Buc's Den, my character Brea spent then entire evening
on Friday sailing from island to island marking runes at each location.
I saved Buc's Den for last figuring it would be the most exciting. My
experience was the same as yours. THERE WAS NOT ONE SINGLE CHARACTER
THERE. The place was a flippin' ghost town. I guess it's seen finer
days! ARRRR, where be the pirates, matey?

With no guard protection, this place offers a lot of potential for
player driven activities.
