Ok, so I got PK'd for the first time night before last, which, in and
of itself, is sad news for me. But it brought something to my
attention.
Have they changed the amount of stamina one loses when getting hit by
spells?
I was in shame, level 2, fighting a dull copper, when this guy comes
running in and flamestrikes me. I attempted to run away, but I made
it about half a screen and got "You're mount is too fatigued to move".
I was well under my weight limit (by 40 - 50 stones). I managed to
get 1 bandage on, but the second flamestrike took me out easily.
I noticed as I played last night that flamestrikes and ebolts seem to
be taking away a _lot_ of stamina. I'm used to losing some stamina
when hit really hard, but it really seemed to be excessive last night
(and the previous night, as well).

Seems to depends on how low on health you are. If you are at 100% health and
hit by a 40 point FS your stamina may not move noticibly. If you are at 50%
health and hit by a 40 point FS you will be out of stamina.
OSI loves giving cheap shot artists huge advantages: Just the way it is.
Carry total refresh potions, food, greater cure potions, greater heal
potions. Of course this also means the cheap shot artist will also get a few
total refresh potions, food, greater cures, greater heal potions, when they
are successful: Just the way it is.
When you take lots of damage you will lose stam.. you seem to lose
more when you are hungry.. drink a red potion to recover stamina..
But in this case it sounds like your horse was tired... that can
happen if you run them around alot...
