I got Pked and I'm not mad... (well not too mad) :)

Last night, around 3am or so, I was at an inn in Britinia. I was curious to
see if the candleopera worked and clicked on it. To my surprise the lights
came on for a second with a woosh before going on. I kept trying to get it to
get it back on but with little success. Unfortunetly the noise attracted a
player called Master Of Puppets. He came into my room and asked if I would
cast a spell from a scroll onto a box of his because he wasn't able to do it.

After some pursading I bought it and decided to help him out even tho I never
tried to cast a spell before. All I can say is that it was late at night and I
was tired because I knew better to fall for something that obvious, but I did
it anyways. I'm not sure what the spell was because everything happened so
fast but upon casting the spell (**gives himself a well deserved smack on the
head**) I was labled a criminal and MOP called the guards which naturally
killed me. I tried to Res fast enough to get my stuff but MOP killed me again,
ah well. At the time I was pissed, not just at MOP but at myself for falling
for a trick like that but now after thinking about it, I must say to MOP
if your reading this, that the trick was good one and well played. You
suckered me in good... it won't happen again tho. :)

We've all been there, don't feel bad. I guess my funniest (there's so
many) death was when I attacked a chicken and then got guard whacked.
Chicken was a polymorphed character *sigh*...but I laughed for hours
after it just thinking about it..how clever of the other player. Those
are the kind of things that are currently missing from UO.

One of the dumbest things I did, among many others, was to open a trapped chest in
a dungeon. Oh yeah, I already knew about them, had been killed before, so you
would think I had learned my lesson.
But yeah, it was late at night, and I forgot to check to see if the chest
highlighted. Had run out of food, and had never gotten the food spell in my book,
so thought I'd check it out. Then my system froze for a couple seconds after I
double clicked the chest, but I had already noticed that it had highlighted.....Oh
No! I knew what was coming.....

Yep, you get tired, and fall for the same stupid things. HeHe. Happens to all of
us.

Same thing happened to me recently, although it was a rabbit,
and I have no clue wether it was a player or not. I commanded a wolf
to attack it, the wold leapt for the rabbit, guard comes, I die, wolf not
there when I get back. It was rather shocking, and I was kind of
dissapointed
as it was the first wolf I had trained, but since that day I stay away from
rabbits (well, at least those wandering around a building ;)
