Well, you all might remember I posted about paging a GM for trapped monsters
a few weeks ago. Well, don't bother. I paged a GM 3 times about the same
trapped Orc and guess what, he is still there. The GM responded that he
would look into it so, since this had happened once before, I went to check
to see if he was really doing his job or just blowing smoke. He must have
been plying Doom because the orc (same one, same name, same house) was still
there. I paged again with the GM's name and was online at least another hour
with no response. I came back later in the day and guess what, he's still
there. I paged again and was on the rest of the night with no response.

What do these guys do? Aren't we customers? Don't we at least deserve not be
lied to?

I sure seem to be ranting a lot lately. Maybe it's time to go mow the yard.

GM Cochese always seem to be on the ball when I page with trapped NPCs
or monsters. I paged him a few days ago, and 15 seconds later they winked
out of existence.

I purposely omitted the name of the GM. It was not Cochese.

I don't post GM names here because 1) this is not the forum for personal
complaints and 2) it is generally not a good idea to piss off God (get my
drift).

I concur. GM Cochese has always responded to my pages, and usually
within a minute. It might be because I'm paging for numerous monsters,
not just a single one. (i.e. maybe they consider that a higher
priority?)

I must have gotten Cochese last night because I found a muderer (Twelv Stroke
GUY), in his house, macroing Spirit Speak. He also had a bone magi, skeletal
mage, and a skeletal knight trapped in his house. I hid outside his house and
paged a GM. While I was notifying a few friends about the murderers
whereabouts, a GM (he didn't talk to me or identify himself) killed all three
monsters and deposited their corpses outside on the ground so I could reap the
goodies (one had 85 magic arrow scrolls).

Now that is customer service. Thank you mystery GM.

I walk onto the steps, use "physically stuck," and type:
"Trapped monster HERE. Please delete. I'm moving on."
(I think that's right, anyway.)
Then I walk away.

I've never seen the GM delete the monster, but I always get a message
saying they've done so and when I check later the monster is gone.

I've done this seven times now. Five of those times the monster was
removed. One of the other times I logged off almost immediately after.
The other time I crashed. If either of those happens, the request is
removed from the GM's queue. That represents 100% success as far as I'm
concerned.

Of the five times the monster was removed Cochese answered three of the
calls. Another GM handled both of the other calls. (It was the same GM
both times, I just don't remember what his name was anymore.)

Nice to meet you too. Twelv Stroke GUY's house is located NE of the entrance
to Wind across the road. There is a long strip of clearing that kind of
winds around in a big circle in that area and he is on the eastern side of
it. I can meet you somewhere tonight or this weekend and show you exactly
where it is if you like.

Just thought I'd share this little story with all of you... My boyfriend has
a kick-ass char on Chessy.. not only is he GM Mage, Warrior, Swords, and
Wrestle.. he is also GM tamer...
Well.. we both went down to Destard and he tamed a dragon.. brought it
back to our tower and boxed it in so it couldn't fly around.. This dragon was
very tempermental but we loved him anyway.. For about a week we took turns
logging onto UO every 5 hours to feed this dragon.. He ate about 10k worth of
food during this week because keeping a dragon happy is not an easy task..
Unfortunately we had our dragon help us to kill a few people which were on
our shit-list(excuse the french please)... They threatened to call a GM on us,
etc..
I truly believe that the GM's put a flag on my boyfriend so he couldn't
tame anymore dragons because from that day on he has not been able to tame a
dragon or a drake.. ALSO.. I logged on for a feeding time one day.. and lo
and behold... my tame dragon was no longer in the tower.. Work of the GM's
you ask? I think the answer is pretty obvious...

Just needed to vent some anger.. :o)

In a similar case, I wanted to know the number of items a container
could hold. I coulndt find it anywhere on the webpage, so i wrote a
letter to support.

In the letter I stated in BOLD CAPS :

PLEASE ANSWER THIS!! DO NOT DIRECT ME TO THE WEB PAGE. I CANT FIND
THE ANSWER THERE!!!

how many items can a container hold??

please send me a simple response, i just want a simple answer.

Thanks alot
Scott

Well, what do you think I got???

Yes. The generic letter that said. 'You can find all the answers on
our web page blah blahblah blahblah blahblah blahblah blah.

Oh well.

I was hoping that they would at least read the e-mail.
