Hello everyone,

I found out something cool if you have a hiding skill. As soon as
someone goes in a house run in and hide. Even if they kill you, your still
there!

And if the owner doesn't do tracking to find out if someone is hiding on his
doorstep, he deserves to have a burgler slip inside 'unseen' and rob him.
*just my opinion*....but it sure beats people who use bugs/exploits to loot
houses. This is how it should really be done!

tries to remember to use tracking to see if anyone is nearby when opening his
door.

I agree, though it used to be a bitch when the doors didn't lock and
unlock automatically.

Oh....let me just add....don't rob the poor guy blind, OK? Just take the
equivalent of a kill. Maybe a set of armor, a couple weapons, some reagents,
whatever. Enough to teach him a lesson (which if he is smart, he will
certainly learn), but not too much to ruin a month's or more hard work. That
way, you will both come out ahead in the long run.

Hello, i just have one question..... If the guy rips you apart and you
die, what is the point? you said so you could still be inside, well why
not just walk into houses as a ghost to begin with. I know it is
actually a good idea to get in and hide. Now, you might have been
meaning that you do that with a crap character with 50 hiding in wich
case this is good because you can hide and log out inside the house and
if he kills you you can choose to res with penalties when you log back
in. just wanted to cover both sides thats all.

Well, DUH! What will they think of next? Hey, I wonder if you can, you know,
take things that don't belong to you? D'y's'pose? Careful, mom might find
out.

I think people ought to Act Right whether their victims do something
stupid or not.

I just don't think it should be done at all. Once we can rekey locks
on houses, fine. But right now this is just sort of a big, huge,
nasty MISTAKE that OSI has made (allowing people to essentially steal
an entire house, not just gain access to it) and I don't think it
should be taken advantage of.

Also, Tracking shouldn't be a mandatory home-owner skill. Bad enough
that everyone *must* learn hiding.

>GL Glaeken - Lake Superior ....

Guess I have to watch for *you* on tracking before leaving my house...

Mike, you can walk into houses and "be there" as a ghost.
