Message boards on LS hosed?

illin' by escorting. Normally this is not a huge problem, but lately it
seems as though the message boards are hosed. I went to Es-kara Brae and
read the Inn board for a couple of fares. There were no fewer than fifty
escortees on the board! Of course, not a dang one of these escortees were
anywhere around. I quickly found that this situation was the same all
over LS. (No board had as many as that one, but they had quite a few.)
Fares would remain on the board long after I had dropped them off at
their destination. Weird.
Ran into some real class acts while escorting, too! En route from the Es-
kara bank to the Inn, a fare popped up right in front of me. To my left
was a TNO member (Can't recall the name, but his title was "DragonMaster"
or some such hooey). I figured "Drag" was escorting as well and was *sort
of* there before me so I said "All yours :)"(being the sporting guy that
I am!) "Drag" replied "I will take thee", "destination", and "Vas Rel
Por". Uhhhh.....Yer certainly welcome Dragster. *sheesh*
While circling the entire upper quadrant of Ocllo for these alleged
escortees (that turned out to be figments of my and the message board's
collective imagination) I passed a goof named "RuneBlade" who was hiding
and camping for fares. "Runie" was onto the message board glitch and, on
my second pass around the circuit, came out of hiding only to say "ha".
Man, I love roleplaying! *double sheesh*

Can't for the life of me think of who that might have been. Igor,
"Drunkin Master" and Fangslayer "Master of the Hunt" are the closest
titles to that. I don't know Igor and I don't think Fang' is in the
escorting biz'.

I noticed this yesterday. Did you notice that the top 20 bounties are no
longer there. Single click the bulletin board and you get *a bounty board
with 0 bounties posted* A ton of escorts though.

This might be Igor. He escorts and his title is "Drunken Master" like Jackie
Chan kung-fu movie. Also, there is Sycrim styled "Guild Dragoon". I don't
know if he escorts.
*sigh* I don't want to venture into the general state of decorum in UO.
I escort alot also, and sometimes when I get in the groove I am heavily
focused on finding a fare. I have had escorts swiped out from under my
nose by a running man yelling "I will take thee" many times before. So,
please don't judge him too harshly, as he is acting from the experience
that if you stop to say "hail" your fare will be gone.
As to the board messages, I have noticed different things going on. Sometime
the bounties are there, other times not. Some times there are no escorts
listed, but there are fares in the woods. Other times when you take the NPCs
to their destinations, the posts *stay* on the board cluttering it up with
20 or so "Escort needed.." messages. Hey, at least the NPCs still pay :)
