How much does it cost to make a GM Alchemist?

unless they did any major changes, took me about 35-40k to get to 97 about
4-5 months ago

Too much. It's not worth it...the value of GH potions has dropped
precipitously since the changes to the healing skill went in. I hardly
use them now. Healing/Anatomy totalling out to 60 skill points
consistently heals 25 to 35 points and you can do it while moving or
hidden. If you're in a hurry, you can always fall back on good old In
Vas Mani instead of a potion.

I'm abandoning my adept alchemist.

Heh, I've been involved in PvP for over a year now. Potions have
always been unreliable and depending on them in PvP combat has gotten
me killed several times. I've always preferred simply casting greater
heal. Now I can hide and heal as well. I still have a few potions on
me, but they don't get used much.
