if you made an item exceptional and your a gm itll say something like
"An exceptional heavy crossbow crafted by Air Ogre"

Which means I have bought a lot of non-exception
armor from GM smiths who
claimed it was exceptional and asked for a higher
price. Being the fool, I asked
for exceptional GM stuff and paid the high price.
I thought it might give me an
edge over the damn PKs. Seemed to make me a

If it says "crafted by ..." it is exceptional.
The word "exceptional" does not appear in the item's name.
When I make "a plate gorget", it is average or below,
but "a plate gorget crafted by Morgan" is exceptional.
