what I want to know how the hell he does it so fast?
he paralyse me, and then do explosion and within seconds does a energy bolt
I know it's a macro kind of stuff
and I tried it my self
but after I do explosion and then try the energy bolt, I get a message
saying I am already casting a spell
any tips?
and does dex affect the speed of casting?

Dex doesn't influence casting speed, the fast mage probably used a
lightning
wand. Btw. I don't believe anyone with a maxed out char has only 25
str...

Well, 1st there are no fast casting methods that I know of anymore..
(there was a bug once).
The thing is you got hit with the classic combo. Paralize, then the
explosion is cast and targeted on your but it has a delay, next the
mage casts EB or FS, if you get the message you are already casting
just try and cast again. If you do it quickly, then the explosion goes
and immediatly after that you can target your EB or FS follow up..
It's not macro kinda stuff.. I never macro combo's that will only get
you killed.. the only macros the pk used were probably
keyboard key for explosion
keyboard key for last target
keyboard key for EB or FS
keyboard key for last target.
4 different keystrokes, not 1 macro. putting all that in a macro is a
sure way to die when you have to change your plan midway thru an
attack.

An alchemist/scribe would have super dex and int, but no str. If the
char is a townie, this is okay, except that it is hard to carry regs and
potions and scrolls... Drink strength, cast strength, and then eat a
magic fish all so you can get to 50 str.

yep - you're just casting too quickly - the process is:
1. Cast Paralyze
2. Wait for Target
3. Target person
4. Cast Explosion
5. Wait for Target
6. Target Person
7. Cast Ebolt
8. Wait for Target
9. Target Person
You've probably just got 7 somewhere between 4 and 6.
Sometimes, even if you get the order right, the Cast Ebolt will say
'You have to wait for this spell to have an effect' - in this case
you've just cast to quickly - recast the ebolt.
Personally I would do this:
1. Cast Paralyze
2. Wait for Target
3. Target person
4. Cast Explosion
5. Wait for Target
6. Target Person
7. Repeatedly Cast Ebolt until you see "Corp Por"
8. Wait for Target
9. Target Person
Oh, BTW - whilst it looks like this on your side, when you are on the
receiving end - you'll see the Explosion and Ebolt because the
Explosion does "hit" when you target the person but a second or so
after so....
1. Cast Paralyze
2. Wait for Target
3. Target person (Person is paralyzed)
4. Cast Explosion
5. Wait for Target
6. Target Person (Explosion doesn't go off yet)
7. Cast Ebolt (Explosion stil hasn't gone off)
8. Wait for Target
(Explosion Hits about here, or just before Ebolt hits))
9. Target Person (EBolt hits)

Not that I'm aware of.
