To be honest I'm not so sure we'd be willing to help you out... all the
aussie's I've talked to in the gaming world have basicly acted like they
know all see all do all and us americans dont know shit...

i used to play on napa...sonoma was good too
hell anything on the west coast was pretty good in non peak hour

Hi,

I play from Melbourne and the best server I could find, speedwise is the
Pacific one. Its the best of the bunch for me, from home on a 33.6k modem.
I usually get a ping of about 360-400ms, which although not all that fast
is quite playable most of the time. I wish Australia could get a server
that would be awesome. This game is soo addictive!

I've been playing for some months on The World Opponent Network (WON), with
quite alot of success. http://www.won.net/

They have quite a nice selection of games and adding more all the time. I am
from the USA and have played against opponents from Singapore, Hong Kong,

Gee's aren't you lagged to hell on lake superior ? Afaik, pacific,
napa valley & sonoma give the best pings from australia.

Geographical location makes little/no difference.

A buddy lives in San Antonio. His traceroute to LS/GL/TC goes through where
I live before it gets back to San Antonio or Houston or whatever Texas city
OSI is in. I live in Memphis!!

As a result, his best pings are to the East Coast servers
(atlantic/cats/ches)
