[SP] Fun with Escort Data

Unfortunately, escorting's pretty dull, as well as time-consuming. On
Siege Perilous, the escorter is limited to one escort per 15 minutes. To
make it a bit more interesting, I've been mulling over the various myths
that exist with regard to escorts, specifically these two: 1. that all
female mage escorts are bearded, and 2. that peasants are more generous
escorts than nobles.
For the first: yes it appears that all female mages escorts have facial
hair, though not all are bearded. For all six female mage escorts I
obtained data for, each at least had a scrubby little mustache.
For the second, a nifty little chart:

So, it would seem that peasants are indeed more consistently generous than
nobles in their payments, but that merchants are the most consistently
generous of all. Peasants remain the best bet for escorts however, as
they are numerous, and do pay above average wages. Nobles and messengers
are the worst. The messengers do have the excuse of working for Lord
British; that can't pay well. If you random escort (as I did in
obtaining this data, which means that I would just grab the first
escort I saw), you should average 1224 per hour (four escorts).
Some notes:
* The lowest paying escorts were Corey the Messenger who wanted to go to
Nujel'm, and Jennettia the Peasant who wanted to go to Britain. Both
wandered around lost after I delivered them to their destinations,
feigning ignorance of the fact that they had arrived at their
destinations, no doubt so they could avoid paying me. There is a three
way tie for next lowest, at 105gp. They should probably be considered
the lowest paying escorts, since they actually did pay me. Anyway,
they were Abraham the Mage who wanted to go to Serpent's Hold, Bren the
Messenger who wanted to go to Nujel'm and Eleanor the Peasant who wanted
to go to Cove.
* The highest paying escorts were Hart the Peasant who wanted to go to
Ocllo and Keith the Wandering Healer who wanted to go to Nujel'm. They
each paid 494gp for their trip.
* At some point I'll try and figure if there are cities that are the most
well-paying origin or destination cities. Unfortunately, most of my data
only kept track of name, profession and payment of escorts, so it'll be a
while before I get enough decent origin/destination data to get that
figured.

Not sure really. I went in with the assumption that it was random.. but
so far there seems to specific behavior per profession. The samples are
small though (I went with 10 minimum per profession, and there's only 85
total), so it might all end up evening out once I get more data. Or it
might be other factors... I'm going to do gender and profession,
destination city and origin city later on, and see how those calculate
out.
