Unless everything gets resolved to our satifaction, we are seriously
considering prosecuting this, which would require many of these people
to be arrested for questioning. Do the smart thing and just come forward
with info.

Get with runesabre or DD - they may be able to supply you with the log
of her account - which would maybe show the IP address and time of the
person that logged in last - and that info gets you the person from
their ISP when you subpeona them.
From there it's a hop skip and jump to the FBI and your local
authorities.
Jack
Maybe the local authorities, the FBI won't get involved on such a minor (as
in low $$$) offense.
Inter-state data hacking is a Federal Offense.

It's a felony.
And on the internet there aren't any "local authorities".

This is in defense of Reza. He had nothing to do with the hacking of
Solaria's account. He didn't even know what was going on there. This
is what happened...
Some of you may know Shaffna, he was a freind of ours, and we were
talking with him hat night in Skara. He mentioned to us someone was
harrassing him and he managed to get a key to their tower, he was
gathering people to go loot it. Shaff used to be our freind, and we
thought okay, these people deserve it, lets do it.
When we got there, we saw DSS inside, and people outside talking about
hacked accounts, and all that. Reza got there ahead of me, and I dont
beleive he is familar with DSS's reputation or the other parties
involved. All he knows is what Shaffna told him. And he did attack
some people, I dont know if he killed anyone, but he wasn't there very
long. He had left right about the time I got there and heard what was
going on. I stayed around and helped kill the DSS.
We've had to much Reza bashing on this board, and I dont think anyone
wants to start anew. So just take my word that he was not involved
with any hacking of anyones account.

Dundee isn't inolved with Shaffna, he just crossposted my post to the TNO
board.

Joking, of course
The FBI has jurisdiction over interstate crimes, which is a heading in
which telecommunications crimes generally fit. I agree that they may
not care because of the small amount of damage involved, but I probably
wouldn't bet either way. Sad story, in any event.
