I submitted a bug report to OSI about the severe lag lockups. I received an
e-mail back from GM Sun Tzu who explained the following. (sorry I forgot to
copy the e-mail up, but I'm typing this from work :-) )
<paraphrased>
"Due to the new reputation system, everytime a change is made in a guild it
is replicated throughout the shard. Since there are so many new guilds and
constant changes occuring, this is causing the severe hangups. We are
working on a solution for this."
<end paraphrase>
So, once again guild warfare brings us to our knees. I had a friend who has
been away for three months finally return. We were hit by three of these
hangups, and he's ready to quit outright. I can' blame him. I may be right
behind him.
