To those who follow,

I write this in great haste, for I can already hear the forces of Pie
breaching the keep walls. I know not how this missive will survive
to reach
the outside lands, or for that matter, future generations. My only
hope is
that this speedily drafted work will offer record of our hallow
philosophy.
For our culture to have any chance of enduring the ages, someone,
somewhere,
must find this. Please, Reader, I besheech thee, spread the word of
our
peoples. Release the spirit of our word and leard from the wisdome
of the
past.

DESSERT - the harmony between the Principles of PIE and CAKE - is
the one
pure axiom we hold true. All three Principles are symbolized in our
hieroglyphs: The Great Earth Whisk, keeper of Dessert, lies on a
vertical
plane, around which the two opposing Beaters of Cake and Pie wrap
themselves.

CAKE and PIE each embrace three FORCES. These six FORCES, when
combined,
form the three Principles of DESSERT. The forces of CAKE are
FROSTING,
CANDLES and LAYERS; the forces of PIE are CRUST, FILLING and TOPPING

CAKE

FROSTING is that which allows for added flavor and delight.
CANDLES are those which encourage merryment in consuming.
LAYERS are those which allow for extravagance in feasting.

PIE

CRUST is that which contains, and holds flavor in check.
FILLING is the innermost thoughts that provide logical flavor.
TOPPING is that which, applied in an Ordered fashion can enhance the
flavor.

DESSERT

FROSTING and CRUST combine to form APPEARANCE, or that which
attracts the
taste buds, and starts the saliva glands.

CANDLES and FILLING combine to form ANTICIPATION, or that which
creates
longing for the flavor which lies within.

LAYERS and TOPPING combine to form CONSUMATION, or the enjoyment
which comes
from ingesting the bountiful harvest.

As thou canst surely see, my world has been torn asunder by
disregard for
DESSERT - our dearest axiom! If thou dost thrive in a time less
violent, I
can do no more than plead with thee to help restore DESSERT to the
Dragon
Table! I must end this brief explication here, for I can hear my
attackers
pounding upon the oaken door downstairs. I wish thee and thy world
better
fortunes than mine own.

I remember that... :) It reminds me of the good fun that used to creep
up on us here, like a cat with extra ketchup. *ponders* Well, that
doesn't actually mean anything. I wonder where the Revoker's gone off
to.

Either A) you have entirely too much time on your hands, or B) you are
excessively hungry and craving something Bad For You, or C) Both.

And then there's always ice cream...

That may be so, but consider this...

The Great Bread Pudding has now entered the fray.

What do we do now? Pie and Cake now have a common foe in Bread Pudding.
Shall we temporally combine our forces against this new comer?

What say ye all?
