I'm posting this message as a friendly reminder for me
tomorrow. I will then post a status report about my
activities.

If I fail, or am caught lying, you are free to beat me up
with a very large stick, or to force me playing Dungeon
Siege.

Okay.

So on morning I studied.
On afternoon I helped a friend setting up her internet account.
Then I started some work on the next version of my blog.
Then I debugged a bit my silly game and wrote on my essay.
Then I finished Fable and am on moving on the Lost Chapters expansion.

Wee for Tomorrow !

I was going to answer this earlier but never got around to it... :-)

I happen to be playing Dungeon Siege right now and rather enjoying it.
Not my favorite game I've ever played but don't see much wrong with
it.

I haven't noticed you can't do that with the guy you control. Your
followers have a mind of their own, though (but AFAIR you can configure
their general response)

You can save everywhere, only problem is you only have 1 slot and you
reload in the city. I admit I hate that, since the monsteres respawn.

I haven't been forced to select partners.

OK, there are some issues - but all in all I think the game has more
depth, and is not quite as linear as number one. So I like it.

I'm also doing DS II. Like DS, it's not all that good in single player,
but it's fun playing through with other people, so I'm working through
it with my brother.

I'd barely call it DS II though, more like DS 1.5.

From what is described here I think I would take less depth and
linearity. I don't like losing control -- in fact, DS1 is bad enough
about the fights going so fast that I lose control over what's
happening, or I'm too busy looking out for who's dying to notice the
fight. Overall I'm not really into that real-time party thing. (And
I have yet to get myself to liberally use the pause - just never got
in the habit.) I'd like it even less if the followers had a mind of
their own. And that save thing would be a real issue with me.

I got it cheap with a pack of games and wasn't even sure I would play
it, but I'm liking it. I doubt I'd intentionally buy DS II. It has,
however, been a great after-surgery activity. :-) I highly recommend
games for therapy.

(*inserts a proper Alfie question here*) But then, I think it's better we
don't get contaminated by Poly's dirty thought. Nowadays, I just give up
figuring out what he /really/ means by his sometimes rather queer
statements.

EverPuzzle:

there come time to think, which translate as pause. fail this, there come
time to regret. regret without save, time to hate. hate game or hate
oneself, which is truer?
