I got a message that I filled in some survey about something and it had a
attachted helpfile with it.
Maybe just one mistake but did anyone else get it?

No, it's not a mistake. It's a LOSE ACCOUNTS FAST!!! spam that hit my usenet
address (see From:) about an hour ago relayed off a woefully misconfigured
open relay (winwave.com, although DNS is fscked up beyond all repair).

They're being LARTed. My first spam in some time... ;-)

Contrapuntal.

I got it, but just erased it, actually it was the first piece of spam
that ever got to my deja account. I would have thought that my account
would have been bombarded by. Not that I care about the account all
that much.

Yeah, I got one. I just deleted it. Any chance of viruses on these
things?

From email? No.
From a .exe or .com email attachment? Yes. *Never* run an email attachment,
unless you know the sender very well (so that you can beat him up if there is a
virus... :)
