Yes it can i did it there is a file u have to delete though

yes and glquakeworld (glqwcl.exe)
look in your quake directory delete opengl32.dll
it's a mini opengl driver for 3dfx based cards only.

Yes. GLQuake will run on ANY 3D graphics card that supports OpenGL, which is just
about every 3D card in existence. (There are exceptions, notably the cheapo stuff
that can do some limited Direct3D and no more) The GF2 cards, even the MX, all
support OpenGL. Whether it will be playable is another matter, but the chances are it
will be.

he MX card will run Q3 well so it will run Q1 very well. I cant see a
situation where Q1 will stress the MX in anyway whatsoever.

FYI, I get about 240fps in Q1 timedemos with an MX. I don't think it's
exactly struggling... :)

i get like 178 in gl mode at highest resolution available with all effects on
35 zuesbots and lots of miniguns going off

Considering that each model has only about maybe, I dunno *picks random
number* FIVE polygons per model, Im not suprised at the speed.
Im still a wuss though :( I can't beat quake without cheating.
