Help with making the archville attack do no damage.

Has anyone ever had any success with making the attack from
the archville that causes you to be thrown into the air do no damage.
My idea is a deathmatch pwad with a huge room full of
invisible archvilles that are not obsticles, do no damage but still
project you into the air.
This would lead to a deathmatch wad where the players were
constantly being thrown up and down while trying to shoot each other,
an interesting idea I'm sure you'll agree :-).
The sound of the archville attack could even be changed to
something like boing to provide an element of comedy.

Hello,

I am looking for something that will allow me to look at the textures
scenery, etc for doom, doom2, heretic, or hexen while I'm making the
map. This will make it easier when the time comes to put the paper map
into the editor and not have to scroll down the texture list trying to
remember the names of what I want.

If anyone knows of something that does this, preferably win3.x, please
let me know. If not, is this something that can be easily made ?

There are lots of programs out there can that can do this. For Windows,
get WinTex 4.2--the best of them all! :-)

I'm pretty sure this isn't possible. The monster's attack methods are
hard-coded into the program; you'd have to go into the program code
itself to change them.

If you could put the players into God mode (somehow), the archviles would do
you no damage.

To make it a DEATH match, you would have to crank up the power on all the
missile weapons, so that they kill you.

Gods are quite fragile. 300 damage points can slay you if you have the wrong
amount of armour. 800k damage will make sure of it.

Apart from the problem of making the players Gods in the first place,
(Hockey10 does this) the rest is quite easy with Dehacked.
