The following changes have been applied:
- ZZZZZZ now uses Standard Algebraic Notation.
- The principle variation is not derived any more from the
hash table, but stored separately (in DOS, where you run with
small hash tables, the principle variation was usually lost).
- ZZZZZZ now has a simple Portable Game Notation (PGN) database
facility. For the moment, it allows to
(1) compile a number of pgn-games and
(2) check a game in pgn format against the database to search
for transpositions.
As this is an alpha release, only the pgn facility will work, so
do not remove your previous version of zzzzzz.
Please let me know if there are any problems with the pgn
reader.
