If Truong had admitted responsibility for the posts and given this
("defend his wife against a "dirty rat" like Sam Sloan") as a
mitigating factor, he would have had a lot of sympathy. He didn't. He
has consistently refused to accept the consequences of his own
actions. He can't simultaneously claim that he is innocent and
justified.
BTW, I have generally been skeptical of attempts to blame Truong for
every anonymous post arguing his side, but it is notable that Truong
himself is the only one I've seen exhibit this sort of irrational
fixation on Kronenberger, an attorney going his job. (A lot of people
detest Sloan, so that's hardly a tell.)
