Joel Channing[/quote]
The problem is not Mr. Hall; it is Mr. Channing.
Mr. Channing got elected to the board by claiming great managerial
expertise. It was claimed that he knew business and finance and had
become a very wealthy man and had all the experience needed to set
right all the tremendous problems the USCF faced.
Now, after sitting for one year on the board with Mr. Channing, I and
the other board members slowly came to the realization that Mr.
Channing has none of the qualifications he claimed to have when
elected.
For example, during the Finance Committee workshop, Mr. Channing
stated, "I don't know anything about accounting except what my
accountants tell me".
Then, only 20 minutes after the meeting had started, Mr. Channing got
up and stated, "If anybody has any more questions I will be in the
bar".
The many members who had come long distances to attend this meeting
were shocked to see Mr. Channing leave the dais and the room. The
meeting continued for another hour, as scheduled, without Mr.
Channing.
At the delegates' meeting, Mr. Channing again stated, "I don't know
anything about accounting".
I wish he had told us that earlier when he got the USCF office to
change its accounting systems. (They eventually had to be changed back
to the way they were originally, at great cost and expense.)
If you will look at his campaign biography, you will see that it is
stated that Mr. Channing had experience as a Director of Mensa and
several other large organizations.
Beatriz Marinello checked the records of Mensa and reported that there
was no record of Mr. Channing ever being a member of Mensa, much less
a director. When confronted with this, Mr. Channing stated that he had
been a member of Mensa in the 1960s and their records do not go back
that far.
Now, the problems of Mr. Hall have become the problems of Mr.
Channing.
During the election campaign period, I was suspended from posting to
the USCF Forums for one week for revealing that the Executive Director
had constant health and absenteeism problems during the entire two
years that he had been executive director.
This was only one of several times that I was suspended from posting
during the election campaign period for revealing the truth.
Bill Hall called in from the hospital in Philadelphia for most of the
week of July 28-August 4, 2007 and then attended the August 4-5
delegates' meetings in a wheelchair with his foot in a bandage.
This is no longer a secret as it was plainly obvious for everyone who
attended the meetings to see.
Will I be suspended again for revealing the truth?

Wow health and absentee problems? :)
Let's go down memory lane for a moment here:
George DeFeis-Nearly fatal car accident at the USATE. Out of work and
the office for over a month.
Mike Cavallo-Never moved to New Windsor, commuted from Boston.
Frequently absent from the office.
Frank Niro-Serious life threatening health problems, off work and
absent for an extended period.
Sounds like same old same old to me.
You should be suspended for life. What a loser!
The USCF seems to be run by a bunch of drunks and bums.
