Please be forewarned, the American Bible Society is peddling what they
claim to be the latest translation of the Holy Bible in Chinese.
However, their version uses archaic Chinese characters that only
people in Taiwan can still read plus a few very old people in China.

The Sam Sloan version of the Bible is in simplified Chinese but not
the simplest version of simplified Chinese. Turns out that there are
different varieties of simplified Chinese.

My Bible is not the latest simplified Chinese but, I am told, is
simple enough that everybody in China can still read it.

Also, those heathens over in that renegade Republic of Taiwan do not
have the true word of God. It is only here in Communist Red China that
the true word of God has been revealed.

This needs to be checked very carefully because the whole of

Both an online version of the Bible that uses simplified Chinese and
my girlfriend's retyping of the words of the original Bible produce
the same words, independently of each other.

I am about to publish another Bible, this time in English. I need to
check again with God on a few of the words and phrases but it should
be out in a few days.

This one renders the same verse differently. It says:

" God loved the people of the world so much that he gave up his one
and only son. Every person who commits himself to Jesus will not be
destroyed. Instead, that person will have eternal life."

This is more or less the same thing but there are some differences, so
I need to check again with God to see exactly what he meant by that.
