Maybe we can get someone to take a photo of Sam Sloan having a minor
grocery bagger placing groceries into his car. Since you are a
convicted felon that kidnapped his own daughter, people may start to
think you get groceries to kidnap minors.
Well, if Tennessee with Knox County is so obsessive with convicting
someone that just wants to play chess and it ended in a suicide that
got into the local website. Maybe, the Tennessee Bureau of
Investigation should investigate the USCF. Well, if it is a crime for
a sex offender to play chess with a minor in a shopping mall in
Tennessee. It could also be a crime for a sex offender to play chess
with a minor in a correspondence game. If that is true, was the USCF
adding and abetting a felon in a criminal act to make a sex offender
to play a minor.
Think we should tell scholastic players they should never play
correspondence chess as their opponent could be a sex offender.

He wasn't being investigated for playing chess with minors in a shopping
mall. Once the mall management learned that he was a convicted
pedophile, they clearly saw potential liability that was unacceptable to
them, and probably their insurance carrier.
I'm certain that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has more pressing
concerns than investigating the USCF.

While I don't agree with the proposed remedy, I agree the parent's
behavior was wrong and harmful to her child. I wonder how the
authorities are treating that part of the case.

Think they should investigate the USCF. A Convicted Sex Offender since
1991, that was a Life Member, that only played Correspondence Chess.
What type of personal relationship this sex offender had when he was
playing a minor? Since he committed suicide, he could have thousands
of saved postcards, letters, all dealing with chess. Who knows, he
could have been making sexual comments to his opponents that the
police now can read the comments. We are unsure he did not rape or
molest a child with his correspondence chess games.
Why Lafferty, you do not want to make sure this sex offender did not
commit a sex crime with his correspondence opponent. Could you please
explain why you do not want to have an investigation to make sure some
scholastic player was not a victim of a sex crime? How can we trust
you with supporting scholastic players as a former candidate of the
USCF Executive Board? It looks to me Lafferty, you rather make sure if
a sex crime could have been committed to just be covered up to protect
the USCF.

I have a great idea, Forsythe: Why don't you volunteer so of your
obviously excessive downtime to run background checks on all USCF
members to determine which are registered sex-offenders. That should
keep you busy for a while.

appear rational, but you can't keep it up for long. Right, Doug? Do
you still want to go out as a mass murderer like you told JH in the

into scholastic tournaments? IMO, Doug, you're potentially a very
dangerous person.

Nuchols said Foxx told her he met the girl through her mother. He said
he was looking for a house cleaner years ago and accidentally dialed
the woman in Lonsdale. Despite the accidental contact, the woman, who
has three daughters, agreed to clean Foxx's home, Nuchols said.
The woman, however, opted to discontinue the arrangement because Foxx
kept trying to show her pornographic videos at his home.
"Mom said it made her feel uncomfortable so she sent her daughter over
there," Nuchols said.
For the next two years, Nuchols said, the then 11-year-old girl would
catch a KAT bus in Lonsdale and go to Foxx's house at 429 Citico St.
"She would go over to his house every Tuesday and Thursday and
sometimes on Saturday, Nuchols said. "She'd get paid $10 a day."
