Mistakes by the USCF Presidents

Beatriz has admitted that she made several mistakes. The Natrol deal
was a mistake. The move to Crossville was a mistake. The hiring of an
ED who proved to be incompetent was a mistake.

However, Goichberg has made far bigger mistakes. Getting rid of the
books and equipment business was a mistake when books and equipment
was the cash cow that brought in most of the USCF revenue. Giving the
business to Chess Cafe was a mistake and especially allowing Chess
Cafe to stiff us again and again when it was obvious that this was
going to happen was a mistake. Making Miss P the Chairman of the USCF
and Mr. T the VP of Finance and Public Relations was a mistake when it
was clear what they were up to.

The difference is that Goichberg has never admitted any of his
mistakes. He thinks that everything he did was just perfect.

Beatriz is not running for president this time, so mistakes she made
when she was president are not really relevant.
