All you critics crawl, all you suckers that write derogatory remarks
about Kramnik in the chess news groups and magazines...all you suckers
bow... bow to Vladimir Kramnik!

Let there be no doubt, in successfully defending against Peter Leko
who played almost flawlessly throughout their contest, Kramnik
displayed the heart of a true champion.

The last two games alone are what greatness is all about, Kramnik
really put it out there and delivered when he absolutely had to -
almost winning the penultimate match game with the black pieces and
then finally cracking Leko with white in the final game to retain his
title.

Weaker players would have buckled under the pressure of Leko's
fantastic play, but no weak World Champion is he! With this defense,
Kramnik has taken one more step to his place with the all time greats.

Now show your respect to Vladimir Kramnik : World Chess Champion.

Whoopie. He managed a Botvinnik-like drawn match by scratching out the last
game. YAWN!!!!

Kramnik played like a true world champion in games 1, 12, 13, and 14,
indeed. Let's hope he plays that way more often than he did in the past.

BTW, Leko also played like a world champion in games 5, 8, 12, and 13, the
end score is even after all.

About half of the games in this match are non-games, but the above mentioned
games more than compensate, it has been a very exciting match at the very
beginning and at the end portion of it, just like a Hollywood movie.

I would think that the sponsors got good value for their money, and let's
hope for more commercial sponsors in the future in addition to political
sponsors.

}he just barely won, in fact he tied which gave him the right to be the winner but it
shows he's weak. Wait till GK gets a hold of droppy, dishelved Drawnik. He'll send him home
screaming to Momma'

You mean RK don't you? Rustam is going to tear old man kasparov a new
asshole in January. Besides, GK already had his match with Kramnik and got
his shit pushed in.

Well, he lost all major matches to : Gelfand, Kamsky and Shirov except from
his match with Kasparov. Now with a great difficulty he drew his match with
Leko. Anyway, nobody should disregard Kramnik, he is a very strong player
;-)

Regards,

Jerzy
