THE RUMOR TERRIBLE

Sam, rumors about my death are somewhat exaggerated.

With all the forgeries, while I looked to make sure it was really you
who posted the "news" and I found it was, could you please check the email
purportedly from GM Rogers with the announcement?

The reason for asking is that Ian Rogers has had his email account
hijacked. The hijacked account was used to send out forged emails such
as the recent one "from" our resident Ambassador and active "Reagent",
which I reproduce below.

I trust you too are in the very pink of health, Sam, and I thank
everyone for their solicitude.

Suffice it to say that I did not choke myself on beef, chicken or
even fish. This is because I do not eat chicken.

"The AP reported that he choked to death on a piece of meat on March
24, 1946, in Estoril, Portugal: "Intimates said Alekhine was
accustomed to eating with his friends, never using knives or forks
when he could avoid them, and that he would eat alone when he wanted
complete enjoyment from a meal.""
(from Chapter 67 of THIS CRAZY WORLD OF CHESS by the late GM Larry Evans)

Dear Mr Parr,

Until the 'mail...@dizum.com' header in your post is satisfactorily
explained you might have to stay dead - sorry..

The message was posted under the same account Larry Parr has been
using here for years. Using Google's "find messages by this author"
function brings up hundreds of messages indisputably by the genuine
Parr. Therefore either he has not died, or someone else is still using
his account and posing as him.
Can we get some actual facts here? So far we have just had a report
from the notoriously unreliable Sloan, and a notice has appeared on a
couple of amateur blogs:

http://www.hairulovchessmaniac.com/2011/04/obituary-larry-parr.html

http://ssquah.blogspot.com/2011/04/lawrence-arthur-collard-parr.html

But now we have (seemingly) Parr himself contradicting these. One
wonders whom to believe.

God has sent him back for a few years as one of his wish was not
completed.

He wanted to kidnap "Help Bot" So God sent him back to do the job.
Then he will be called back.

God did justice. If Mr Parr could not succeed in getting "Help Bot" He
will be sent back again.

I will pay "One Kg Onions" to Larry Parr for returing back Help Bot.
Is the deal complete?

I am quite happy "Larry Parr" is with us. God bless you.

Taylor Kingston is even stupider that any of us thought.

The report supposedly from Larry Parr that Parr is still alive is
posted from dizum.com Parr has never used dizum.com dizum.com is an
anonymous re-mailer that is regularly used by "The Fake Sam Sloan".
So, this report that Parr is still alive is probably from the same
person who posts the Fake Sam Sloan messages.

The person who originally informed me that Parr had died was a close
associate, Hamid, in Malaysia, where Parr was living. It is an even
sicker than usual joke by the Fake Sam Sloan to say that Parr is still
alive.

Parr has been in poor health for a number of years. With what he had I
am surprised he lived as long as he did. In a private email he had
asked me not to reveal or allude to his true medical condition.

Here are the headers to the posting by the "Fake Larry Parr" which
prove that Parr did not send this.

Sam, it's seldom stupid to question what you say. And as I pointed
out, this message came from the same User ID as Parr has used here for
years. I have no idea whether Parr is alive or not. I would just like
a report from a source we know and can trust.

More stupidity by Taylor Kingston.

The posting came from dizum.com , an anonymous remailer. Larry Parr
has never used dizum.com but the Fake Sam Sloan often does.

Taylor Kingston has also been one of the most frequent critics of
Larry Parr. It is no wonder that he did not receive the death
announcements.

Is he still dead? There seems to be some confusion. No one knows how
to tell if he is dead from when he wasn't dead so now he is no longer
dead but still dead. As Larry would say, better dead than red.

I hardly expected any personal notification. I just want a report
from a source I can trust. That leaves you out, Sam.

Pls Alain, not now with the inanities, are u incapable of reading posts
in any kind of order, do u not hearken unto the organ music ?

Mr Parr has left the ship, hung up his horsewhip, parked his cloggs...
has died.

There will be no more evisceration or bloviation & rgc* mourns the loss
- in fact as 64 is still quite young the question is who's next ?

Genralisimo Franco has died? I knew he was sick for a long time but I
thought he was still being kept alive. Kinda like they did with Lenin.
But instead of using a big bottle of Vodka they probably used Sangria.
