Dear Chessfriends,
Tomorrow 4th of September we start our forthcoming FIRST SATURDAY tournaments
in Budapest.
We plan two IM-groups /26 players registered/, one FM-ELO-group /10 players/,
one Scheveningen ELO-group.
The venue is the Hotel Zuglo ** in the district No.14. , Nagy Lajos Kiraly
Str.202.
We start at 14.00 hour there in the tournament hall.
In the Scheveningen system tournament will play a nonrated Chinese boy, Tong
Lida, who is one of the first Chinese players playing for long time in
Budapest. The 14 years old new IM, Bu Xiangzhi 2465 is here as well, he will
play in the 21st of September - 1st of October ATOM CUP in Paks and in the 2nd
- 14th of October 2nd KLUGER MEMORIAL - FIRST SATURDAY GM tournament.
In November a new wave of Chinese players come to Budapest.
Usually the players stay for more, than 6 months here.
There is an interesting story started here: Mr. Ji Yunqi, a Chinese
chesstrainer founded the Office for the Development of the Chinese Chess in
Budapest, the main goal is to manage Chinese talented chessplayers to Europe,
mainly to Budapest, to the FIRST SATURDAY chess tournaments.
This tournament gives a possibility to the players to make ELO-rating, FM, IM
and GM titles.
The office's e-mail address: qd...@pronet.hu
They are supported by the Chinese government, the Chinese Chess Federation and
the Qingdao News Journal.
I suggest you to say hello to this new organisation, to wish them all the
best. They will be very happy... :-)
I will inform you about the September FS event regularly, if you like.
Regards and cheers:

A popular question from Americans is how much does it costs after travel.
I will obtain a calendar from Mr. Nagy and costs for various categories of
play - ELO rating criteria, and also recommendations for staying in Budapest.
Lazlo speaks reasonable English and please also feel free to contact him directly.
