interesting is that Rob Mitchell has lied about his involvement in
this. Then another link showed up where it was proven that Rob
Mitchell owes somebody else $57,000 and he was going to use the
$35,000 to pay down some of the debt. It has been proven without a
doubt that Rob Mitchell who was known as "Rob the Robber" is deserving

if a company comprising rob mitchell asked for provisional fees to
perform a fischer match for tv to be held in iceland, how much money
should mitchell have 'extorted'?

It would be amazing if Ed Trice actually used his real name to post
his ridiculous lies. His "playbook" is very predictable and instantly
recognized (as seen here).

Thank you Mr. Labate for showing us the truth. Why does this man
attack Mitchell? Did Mitchell try to steal from Fischer like Trice
did? NO! Did Mitchell come here with fake checks to try to dupe Bobby?
NO! Did anyone but Trice cost people much misery and expense and still
lie about it? NO!
Why did Trice lie like this? How important is his silly game to the
world of chess? Nobody plays his game. If you do Alexia search for
number of hits ito his site it is so small that it is funny. Trice is

I don't understand the person of Ed Trice that is presented here.
Perhaps those who know him can explain the man to us -- by which I
mean, not to attack him, but to describe him.
First, Trice does not stand accused of being a loathsome
monster. He does not kill or rape, so far as we know.
Second, the man described here manages quite a bit of clever
persiflage in the pursuit of ... but that's just it! Ed Labate wins a
$21 million dollar suit against him, and we are informed that Mr.
Trice is broke. Based on what people say here, the man works very
hard and rather shrewdly in a certain sense in order to make little,
if any money.
If someone says that Mr. Trice is merely a failed conman, then
why is he evidently emotionally involved by posting anonymously?
Conmen move on to new schemes. They don't hang around for years
trying to avenge themselves on suckers they failed to bilk.
Third, perhaps some folks will argue that Mr. Trice is nuts. Yet
the description of his activities does not fit my understanding of an
insane person.
Fourth, the notion that Mr. Trice is stupid or lacks the get-go
runs up against plenty of evidence that he is too clever by half and
possesses entrepreneurial energy -- misplaced though it may be. Most
people never start their own business.
Fifth, I don't see Mr. Trice as a mama's boy, a nebbish, a meek
loser. Yes, he may have lost until now and may continuing losing
throughout his life, but one feels that such is not because he is
without natural abilities.
My explanation: Mr. Trice may be a man of ability who is normal
in many ways, but he has a fatal character flaw -- always looking for
what he imagines to be a shortcut. I don't insist on my explanation,
which is why perhaps others will proffer their understandings of the
man in a tone that is strictly analytical.

Reasonably close. When I met Ed he came across as a paranoid nerd with
an extremely fragile ego. The kind of guy that takes a shotgun and
goes to the neighbor's house and kills everyone because the radio had
inner messages that told him they were laughing-plotting-ignoring-
(fill in this space with your favorite) <at> him. Hopefully he is
harmless but I sure wouldn't want him for a neighbor.
Intense people like that have a hard time forming interpersonal
relationships (a la Booby). They can not hold a job for long and if
they have any skills at all they'll go to work for themselves. For
some insights into his mind check out one of his chess products-
programs. A weird guy at best.

Bobby Fischer. He was too smart and smelled a bad puffin like Trice a
mile a way. He say he got sick first time he came to try to swindle
Bobby. There is powerful magic in Iceland. The huldfolk protect those
they love. Bobby was loved and they made the evil Trice sick. He will
never come back. If he does he will get something he does not want.
