Anyone looking to play in a tournament? Well look no further. The 5th
Annual Tinney Classic Chess Tournament is here. This tournament has been
running on a local BBS door, and now is looking to branch out. William
Tinney, 4 time winner of the San Antonio City Championship Chess Tournament
in 1988, 1990, 1991, and 1995, will be hosting the tournament. Every
player is invited to play. All rounds will be conducted in a “Swiss
System” style. The same style used by the U. S. Chess Federation. The last
day to enter this tournament will be September 30, 1997. You may not use
computers or another person to help you play. You may use any written
form, though, to help you. If you win your chess match, you will receive
one (1) point. If you loose, you receive zero (0) points. If you draw your
chess match, you will receive 0.5 points. If you have a bye, you will
receive zero (0) points. After each round, each player will be ranked
accordingly. I am looking for ANY amount of players. The more players
that join, the more rounds there are and the more points that will be given.

letters from numbers and the letter L between the
letter i.
Ranking. If any. If you do not have a ranking, just say none.
