Does anyone know of a website that helps generate chess moves?? I
play my father over email and he always beats me. I would like to
find an internet site that will tell me the best move to make in
certain situations. Is there such a place? Thanks!

Kaputnik,

Does your father want to play you or a computer!?

Any chess program (e.g., Fritz /Shredder) will do what you want. Doesn't
need to be an "internet move generator".

No idea about "internet movegenerators", well I once saw one, but it was
weak (in my oppinion). And I agree in the other posting: Is you father
going to play you or a computer?
However, you can get a lot freeware chess software, and if you want to
learn some, analyse the games you've played againt your father so far,
an see if you find improvements againt his repetoire. But I think its
unetical to the programs while playing him. But there nothing wrong in
preparing, and then you could learn something about chess yourself, the
openings he and you play, and why he wins!
BTW: If you begin to use computers, he's probably soon going to smell it!

You know, why don't you guys just anwer my question and let me worry
about my ethics and how I play my father. I didn't ask for your
opinion of whether it was ethical or not, I just want to know if there
is a website that I can go to that will give me moves.

I certainly don't need to give you any explanation, but I am doing
this as a goof on my father.

Thanks for nothing but your superior attitude. You know nothing about
me or my situation yet you both judge me.

I am sorry I ever asked.

Does anyone else out there know of an internet site that will generate
chess moves if you inout the situation???

In other words, you want chess software that you can secretly use to
cheat your father in the game? Any computer chess program will help you
do this, but what's the point? It is said people go on ICC and covertly
use a chess program to help them win; they have high ICC ratings, but
what does this prove in the real world? I could probably win the New
York City Marathon if I used the subway expeditiously, but so what?

Thanks!
