I'm hoping someone can help me.. I'm looking for a good Windows 95
chess game.. It would be nice if it was shareware as well.. If anyone
knows of a site I could download it, this would be appreciated..

Until I bought ChessMaster 5000 I was using Microsoft Chess, available for
free download from http://www.microsoft.com.

Extreme Chess gets the Komputer Korner Gold medal award for value priced
chess playing engines. See my review on the ICD site.

The komputer which kouldn't keep a password safe from prying eyes, kouldn't kompute
the square root of 36^n, kouldn't find the real motive behind ChessBase and missed the
real learning feature of Nimzo. Long Live Nimzo!!!!!!.

There is no review of yours on the ICD site. Making this same mistake four
times in a row is simply stupid.

Only CM5000, Virtual Chess and Power Chess have long filename support
within Win 95 and only Power Chess will not interfere with your audio
drivers. As to the strongest of these, CM 5000 is. But there are 2 other
strong windows chess programs Genius 5, Fritz/Extreme Chess. But other
programs like Rebel, M-Chess Pro, Hiarcs and Nimzo will run in DOS
boxes
within WIN 95. If you absolutely must have multitasking when you are
playing
your program then you should go with Fritz, Extreme, or Genius. Hope, I
haven't
left anybody out.
