games (1991-1996).
ChessGenius 5 DOS comes with the 'classic' ChessGenius 3 program
features and user interface, but with full Genius 5 playing strength.
The genuine 1994 World Champion program ChessGenius 3 is also
incuded on the Genius 5 CD-ROM.

I guess if you don't have a cd-rom, you are out of luck.

section, pretty much the same format as Genius4, but with the new
220,000 book. The 2D/3D graphics and 80,000 games database will be
missing, as will the MS-DOS Genius5 and Genius3 versions. That's all I
know for sure, but Richard seemed pretty definite it will happen when I
spoke with him yesterday.

What about pawn promotions in opening book editor and change in the
limit of the length of the line from 29 moves to ? in opening book
editor. The other real important missing feature of Genius 4 was
after the opening was over, there was no way to tell which book was
loaded. Sometimes us patzers forget.

In Germany about 100DM for upgrading from Genius4 and 125DM for upgrading
from Genius3.
