I live in DC and I have a friend in Florida who I would like to start
playing chess with. He has a mac and he is on AOL. I have a PC and I
have a SLIP/PPP connection. I have looked around the Net for a chess
interface that is Mac/PC compatible but have had no luck. I know of
Java based apps but my Internet Service Provider blinks out a couple of
times a day. I fear that this would screw up our game while I
reconnect. I’m not sure but I believe that AOL is a problem of it’s
own.
I have Chessmaster Live Chess (it’s free and it’s great!) except they
don’t make a Mac version.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions for me? I would really
appreciate any help that could be offered.
Thanks,
Rob
